2017 ALL-MAC SELECTIONS

BRONCOS SHARE MAC WEST TITLE
After starting Mid-American Conference play with a 2-6 record the Broncos closed out the remainder of their schedule with wins in 10 of the last 11 games, including the last nine in a row, rallying back from last place to tie Ball State for the MAC West title. It was the eighth division crown in 14 seasons under WMU head coach Steve Hawkins.

HOW THE STREAK SIZES UP
WMU's current nine-game winning streak is the second longest MAC winning streak in WMU history. The 2014 Bronco MAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship team won eight regular-season conference games. The 1976 MAC Championship team holds the school record with 10-straight MAC wins.

LAST WMU MAC CHAMPIONSHIP
WMU was the No. 1 seed in 2014 after winning the regular season and clinched the tournament championship after defeating No. 4 Akron, 64-60, in overtime in the semifinals and battled past No. 2 Toledo, 98-77, in the championship game.
